My Dear Friends
I started writing this newsletter exactly a year ago and it was just a random decision which turned out to be one of the best stunts I have ever done in life, obviously apart from adopting Bruce Wayne, that dog is just one big ocean full of love.
This is how it started, a simple Google Form where I had no clue what I was getting into and I never really thought that more than 500 people would fill up a form titled ‘Jaankari Dijiye’, you all have surprised me always.
I have had such meaningful conversations with so many of you throughout this year, talking about multiple topics from across the world. We might have never met each other or we might not be FB friends but this weekly routine of writing, reading, sharing was such a great adventure and I want to thank each one of you for making me write this newsletter every Sunday. There were days when I felt like I should stop writing this because my work was getting very hectic and it was difficult to manage time, but “Expression is a reward in itself” is what I have learnt during this entire year.
Plus, writing constantly makes you smarter, seriously.
Writing is a neuron-pumping activity that challenges your brain to translate shapeless ideas into logical, syntax-conforming sentences. It’s mental gymnastics when you have to take a fuzzy concept and transform it into words.
You all made me smarter, thank you!
Now coming to the subscription point.
It’s not about how many subscribers this newsletter has or let’s say how many people are talking about it on Instagram, it’s just about even if one of you is getting benefited by reading some of these articles or by watching something that I recommend, it completes it’s purpose.
Let’s say this email is written just for you, let’s forget the social media greed about it, and this newsletter has been all about that for me, making stronger connections through conversations with each one of you.
Trust me when I say this, all you need in life is one good conversation.

Now I know because you all are going to pay money for reading Relatively Correct from November, so here is what we are going to do different from here onwards.
This is not just going to be me sharing articles or movie recommendations, this will be turning into an intellectual, empathetic and a learning discussion group where all of us interact and build an enriching community. Does anyone here doubt about my Community Building skills?
A whatsapp group for all the paid subscribers where we keep interacting over the week and not just on Sundays. You will absolutely love meeting these genius subscribers of Relatively Correct. You can even choose not to be part of the whatsapp group, totally your call but don’t ask for discount on the membership. There is already an early bird offer till 31st October.
The paid subscribers can be part of a live discussion over zoom on last Sunday of the month where we have a dialogue about what all we read throughout the month, what did we watch and some meme sharing exercises of course. I will bring in some guest speakers also to these live discussions, how many of you were present for the Vir Das discussion on 10th October?
The paid subscribers will get a newsletter every Sunday and the free subscribers get the newsletter only on last Sunday of the month.
The newsletters will be long, really long because we will be doing some in depth opinions about the weekly topics and also try to include some opinions from you all in the newsletter.
The newsletter will be sent to you all every Sunday at 9 AM. Also, now that you will be a paid subscriber the email will be received directly in your primary tab.
This is an investment into up-skilling yourself, don’t think 120 rupaye me mujhe kitna milega and kya milega. Join me on this adventure before 31st October so that you get a 20% off forever.
If you have any questions apart from this, please feel free to reply to this email and if you face any difficulties while getting a paid subscription to the newsletter, I am just an email away.
